Nathan D. Baney’s practice focuses on both individuals and businesses in bankruptcy court and litigation throughout Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia. Mr. Baney represents Plaintiff’s and Defendant’s, Debtors and Creditors.


For bankruptcy clients, Mr. Baney helps individual and corporate debtors reorganize their finances, allowing the individual or entity to refocus their efforts on the productive controbution to the community and markets rather than being bogged down with creditors and collectors. When representing debtors and creditors, Mr. Baney’s interest, other than advocating for his clients, is maximizing the procedure and perceived fairness among the parties accessing the bankruptcy system.


As a litigation and trial attorney, Mr. Baney has represented both corporate and individual clients in all phases of the litigation and trial timelines. Mr. Baney has experience ranging from defending corporate clients from shareholders actions to representing individual plaintiffs in Americans with Disabilities Act actions, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act claims, as well as landlord-tenant matters and complicated family law matters.
