COVID-19 Alert: Filing Bankruptcy While Isolating or in Quarantine

Nathan D. Baney

Prior to working as a family law attorney and consumer advocate, I worked on a wide range of business and consumer matters ranging from shareholder and commercial litigation to representing individual plaintiffs in Americans with Disabilities Act actions, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and employment litigation. I have tried several large cases to judgment in multi-week trials.  In addition to my trial practice, I represent both individuals and businesses in bankruptcy courts throughout Northern Virginia, the District of Columbia, and Maryland representing both Debtors and Creditors.

I decided to re-focus my practice on helping individuals after witnessing the difference I was able to make in my clients’ lives by sticking up for, and helping, those people who are being harmed by spouses and/or companies that are unable, or maliciously unwilling, to follow the law.  It has become my mission to stand up for those people who are being ignored or bullied by spouses or entities who have no regard for the harm that their actions have on the day to day lives of people they deal with.
